Re:Generation is a community of young adults in West Linn, Oregon, that gathers each month to pursue Jesus together. I've found such a home with these people since they first kicked off 7 years ago.
Since we did a rebrand of New Life Church, the host of Re:Generation, earlier in the year, it seemed natural to rebrand ReGen to pair well with the new church logo.
We used three of the colors from New Life Church's color palette and used the same primary font, but used different weights and uppercase letters to give it a more modern and clean vibe to appeal to a younger audience.
In building a brand, I always start with an inspiration board (pictured below), since I process and think visually. I like to include a simplified version of this in the final branding guide for clients. This equips them with a strong theme that supports their colors and brand and will help them achieve consistency as they reach out to their audience.
